For more information about living and working in Prince George please consult www.seeyouinprincegeorge.ca The University of Northern British Columbia, in conjunction with the School of Environmental Planning, invites applications for a Term position for up to one year at the rank of Assistant Professor. You will participate in the School’s events and on-going activities and you will be teach up to five courses, which are expected to be assigned from among the following: Mediation and Negotiation, the Professional Practice of Planning, Environmental Impact Assessment or Environment and Society or two First Nations and Planning courses and/or a Special topics course. Preference will be given to applicants holding a PhD in Planning. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Planning together with demonstrated relevant professional practice are encouraged to apply. The candidate should also provide evidence of previous teaching experience at the college or university level. Membership in the Canadian Institute of Planners or other Professional Planning organization is an asset.
